A lot of people in the entertainment industry are notorious for their drug and alcohol habits, but I don't let that affect me. Just look at the people who have used drugs; it’s obvious the harmful effects they can have on not only your body, but your mind, as well," says Kristy.

Always one to stand out in a crowd, Ms. Caldwell is never too busy to talk to kids about the importance of staying away from drugs. Says Kristy, "I always make sure to let the youth of today know that it’s ok to decline drugs…even if your friends offer them to you. A real friend won't talk you into doing anything that will bring you down. Making the decision to not be around the wrong influences can be a tough one when your friends are concerned, but in the long run, you always realize it was the best decision you could ever have made. Not to mention, it makes you the stronger person."
